I’m here to support the adults who play a pivotal role in the lives of neurodivergent children. My professional and personal experiences have given me a deep understanding of the unique challenges that come with  raising and teaching kids who navigate the world differently.

With experience in the school setting, my focus has always been on supporting children
with ADHD and related anxiety issues such as perfectionism and school refusal. Through my professional experiences, I have gained valuable insights from the children, families, and educators I’ve worked alongside. These interactions have shaped my passion for guiding parents and teachers in supporting neurodivergent kids.

While my career has provided many lessons, my husband and son (both of whom are
diagnosed with ADHD) continue to be my greatest teachers. As a parent, I have
experienced the joys and challenges that come with raising a neurodivergent child, and I understand the complexities of working within the school system. I’ve been both sides of the table, as a school counselor and as a parent navigating the 504 process. I know firsthand the sense overwhelm, and sometimes feeling at a loss for solutions. This is what drives my dedication to fostering collaboration between parents, teachers, and children so that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

The path of raising and teaching neurodivergent children is filled with challenges and triumphs. Our kids are unique and complex, as are our families, classrooms, and systems.

Amidst the vast array of information available, we are the only ones who can discern the next best steps for our children.

Together, we will work toward creating a balance between supporting children in learning new skills and nurturing relationships that foster independence and emotional well-being. There is always hope and a way forward! I am committed to helping you find that way, drawing from a mix of evidence-based strategies and a holistic, empathetic approach. Together, we will explore tools that foster  emotional growth and build nurturing relationships, while also focusing on your well-being as an adult, so you can continue to show up with the energy and focus that your children deserve.

I’m excited to share this journey with you, empowering you with strategies an  insights you need to support the neurodivergent kids in your life.
