Kayte Keller

Even though we can deeply know ourselves, sometimes we notice something is wrong and we can’t quite figure out what it is. Or, we know exactly what is wrong so we try to escape it through all kinds of distractions but it still lingers. We avoid sitting with it because it reminds us of past and present pain. We are afraid of the future and can’t enjoy the present because of the past.

There is so much locked inside us and sometimes we just need a little help with the key.

When we experience trauma, it can feel like that trauma will always be a part of us. While there is some truth to that, you can take the power away from what has hurt you and give that power back to yourself. You can mold a beautiful life despite your painful past because you deserve a bright and healthy future.

There is power in being heard.
